Welcome to the Lacy Foundation!
The Lacy Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission to enrich every student’s learning experience by funding additional teaching positions not provided by the state budget. For the 2023-2024 school year, the Lacy Foundation was able to fund 15 teaching positions which include instructional assistants for grades 1 through 5, literacy support specialist, a literacy and math tutor, and a full time (K through 5) Spanish teacher!
Our goal for 2024-2025 is to provide Lacy Elementary with the funding necessary to continue providing additional positions consistent with Principal Miller’s vision. The Lacy Foundation would like to continue to fund a full time Foreign Language teacher, literacy specialists and enough Instructional Assistants to provide intervention and enrichment to all grade levels. However, there is ongoing communication with the students, teachers, and community to tailor this vision to the specific needs for next year.
