What is the Lacy Foundation?
The Lacy Foundation is a non-profit that raises money to fund extra teaching positions and programs at Lacy Elementary not otherwise funded by the state. For the 2017-2018 school year, the Foundation was able to provide $176,600 to fund 11 teaching positions including a Spanish teacher, first and second grade teacher assistants, a literacy intervention specialist, a K-2 literacy enrichment teacher, ESL camp, and substitute teachers for assessment periods. We are a group of volunteers who work solely off of charitable donations which is why your support is invaluable!

How do you get involved?
The annual party is our largest fundraiser of the year and it is quickly approaching! Lacy After Dark featuring live music by Mr. Potato Head will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Market Hall. This takes a lot of hands to be successful! If you are interested in helping in any way, please contact Kimberly Layton or Langdon Harris.
Thank you for your incredible support of the Lacy Foundation!
